Mouse Support

In order to be able to have mouse support across telnet, you must be using both Pragma TelnetServer and Pragma Console Telnet Client. To get mouse support across telnet, the TERM variable on the client machine must be set to WindowsTerm. This can be done in one of two ways:

1.To set WindowsTerm on a temporary basis, at the command prompt, type:

 SET TERM=WindowsTerm

This will only be in affect in the same console the command was typed in.

2.To set WindowsTerm on a permanent basis

Go to Environment Variables dialog for the OS. Check OS documentation on how to change environment variables. Create the environment variable TERM with a value of WindowsTerm. This can be done on either a per user (user variable) or system-wide (system variable) basis.

Along with mouse support WindowsTerm provides full keyboard support as well. A key event instead of a single character will be sent to the server.
