Transfer Files Securely

In order to transfer files securely, you need to use a secure transfer protocol. SFTP which stands for secure file transfer protocol is the solution. SFTP utilizes high level encryption (128,192,256 bits) for authentication and file transfers. You need an SFTP server and an SFTP client to transfer files securely. (The non-secure FTP client cannot be used to make a SFTP connection.)

SFTP Server Solution:

Pragma Systems offers both the SFTP server solution and the SFTP Client solution. Pragma SFTP server comes built-in with its FortressSSH server package. FortressSSH runs on Windows 2000\XP\2003\Vista\2008 operating systems and provides a user-friendly manager interface to configure SFTP settings. All types of SFTP clients (Windows, Unix) can connect to a Windows machine running Pragma's SFTP server (Pragma FortressSSH) and transfer files securely.  [Learn More]

SFTP Client Solution:

As for the SFTP client, Pragma offers a GUI SFTP client called the FortressFX and a command line SFTP client which is simply known as the Console SFTP Client (sftp.exe). Both the FortressFX and the Console SFTP client run on Windows operating systems and designed to connect to Windows and non-Windows SFTP servers to transfer files securely. Both of these clients are part of the Pragma FortressSSH ClientSuite package. [Learn More]
