Connect:
Click on this button to CONNECT to server.FortressFX has a customizable toolbar and a Quick Connect Toolbar, that can be turned on or off using the View menu item or by right-clicking in the main window. See Menu for more information on other helpful menu items. The view of the main toolbar can can be changed using the context "Customize..." menu item, accessible by right-clicking on the toolbar. Add, remove, or reorder buttons on the toolbar. Change the size of the icons. Change the location or remove the button text.
The following buttons are on the main toolbar by default:
Connect:
Click on this button to CONNECT to server.
Disconnect:
Click on this button to DISCONNECT from server.
Refresh:
Click on this button to REFRESH the remote host view.
Cancel:
Click on this button to CANCEL a file transfer.
Up:
Click on this button to go UP one directory.
Go
To: Click on this button to GO TO a particular directory on
the server without traversing the directory tree.
Upload:
Click on this button to UPLOAD files.
Download:
Click on this button to DOWNLOAD selected files.
Delete:
Click on this button to DELETE the selected files.
View:
Click on this button to change the VIEW of the right pane, file listing.
Properties:
Click on this button to view file PROPERTIES of a selected file.
Connection
Wizard: Click on this button to launch the FortressFX
CONNECTION WIZARD.
About:
Click on this button to view FortressFX program information,
including version and build.
The Quick Connect toolbar can be turned on and off using the View menu. This toolbar allows you to type a username, password, and hostname for a remote host without using the Site Manager.
